The Team
Jon is the fellow who slings most of the bits that go into our products. If something is broken, it's probably his fault. He also works full-time for Amazon.com, and as a result doesn't have nearly enough time to work on his personal projects as he would like. He's passionate about writing good software, brewing good beer, and building robots. If one day the robot revolution comes, his hope is to be among those spared for having been at least partially responsible.
Erik writes the balance of the code. He graduated (twice!) from Georgia Tech with degrees in Chemistry (Physical Organic and Polymer) and Computer Science (Machine Learning and HCI). He's currently working as an independent software engineer. He has a nasty habit of picking hobbies he's innately bad at: currently it's track cycling. He's also a fan of the third person.
Sven is our very serious mascot. He is a derived work from Hideyuki Kamon's photo of a rock pigeon in Osaka, Japan. Sven, like Sven's original photo, is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. While Ballistic Pigeon's products are commercial, we strongly believe that in the power of contributing back. To see what we've released as Open Source, visit us on github.
